  • Trading Data: Trade history, P&L, instruments, and timestamps synced from your linked brokerages (Zerodha, Upstox, etc.) via official read-only APIs or manual entry.
  • Journaling Data: Text entries regarding psychology, mistakes, and strategy tags that you manually input.
  • Automated Analytics: Aggregated metrics based on your trading data to power your dashboard.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to provide and improve the BazaarDiary service. Specifically:

  • To generate personal trading heatmaps, analytics, and metrics.
  • To provide AI-driven psychological coaching (Note: Data sent to OpenAI for generating reports is anonymized, omitting your name and exact monetary balances where possible. OpenAI APIs do not use your data for global model training).
  • To communicate with you regarding your subscription or platform updates.

4. Data Security & Storage

Your trading data is securely encrypted. We only require Read-Only access to your broker accounts. BazaarDiary cannot and will never execute trades, withdraw funds, or modify your brokerage account settings in any way.

We implement robust technical security measures, including HTTPS encryption, database connection limits, and rate limiting to prevent unauthorized access.

5. Cookies and Web Beacons

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and hold certain information, primarily for authenticating your session securely (JWTs).
